Strong Alcohol Taste

I have noticed lately that the last couple of pots from the keg seem to have a strong alcohol taste. Is this normal? What would cause this?

i had a similar experience lately,

turns out that the beer in the keg had frozen and was drawing off the concentrated alcohol which did not freeze.

I didnt realise for a while and when i finally thawed it out the rest of the keg was very watery and tasteless

the keg poured no problems, it was only the last 2 or three pots that wee strong. The rest was good. Oh well, it was only a pot or two from a whole keg.

Benno, did U get any strong but weird alc flavrs? If so it may have been fusels.
It may have been off-flavours if you didn't enjoy it.

Need a beter description of the "strong" flavour. Was it sweet/acetone, or strong/metho?

I must admit, i have been lurking for a while now.

this site has been a wealth of information so far, and also has been responsible for draining a large portion of my own wealth each month!
