AN update for anyone watching the thread.
I have now sampled 2 of the bottles.
Alcoholic - most definately. Certainly gives you a buzz.
Carbonated - no. Not sure why, I suspect that the lids did not re-seal very well. Or not enough sugar for the secondary fermentation.
Taste: Mmmm. Let me just say that it leaves a lot to be desired. Very, very dry - hardly any sweetness at all. Well that means that the sugars were all used up at least.
I added sugar to the bottles, and sealed them tightly. Since I cannot taste that I am assuming two things. Secondary fermentation did work. I did not put in enough sugar. Or that bakers yeast is going to keep consuming sugar until the cows come home.
