Ss Mash Tun

Hi all

Been awhile since my last post but Iv been doing stuff, if the pics turned out this is my 50lt SS mash tun with heat sheild insulation false bottom whith some nice other SS bits and pieces im a big fan of the bling bling!! so I had to show this after a thread last night gave the bling a bit of a bashing, so I had a laugh and proud to say Iv pimped my brewrey Iv got two other 50lt SS pots plumbed and ready to go all 3 look quiet nice anyway

Excellent Monkale. Very similar to mine, but I went for an aluminium pot.

Are you planning to step mash on a burner?

Can you give more details of the insulation you have used, it looks good.

Hey Kroozy

The insulation is an engine bay type high heat resistant whith good thermol properties had a test 40lts of water in it held temp at 70c for an hour dropped 2c and not to sure about the burrner yet oh and insulation is sticky on the back once its on its on there!!!
