G'day guys do I squeeze my BIAB or not?????? My LHBS has advised to not squeeze because of tannins or something??? I squeezed last brew they reckon it will be too bitter.....To squeeze or not to squeeze????

Squeeze then sparge. You would be more likely to extract tannins after sparging

Furthermore can I sparge with BIAB?????
Yes, sparge away. BIAB is designed to be simple with no sparge, but you can certainly do so.

Why squeeze?
I use a remarkable process called patience.
With patience I let the bag hang, and hang, and hang, all through the boil, until I finally can't leave it Any longer - have to pack up.
With patience no squeezing is needed. Grain is as dry as chips.

My Wife calls my patience, laziness, but I call it genius.

whring it's neck.
I cant see a problem as it is still at your mash temp.
I squeeze the crap out a mine

hoist bag after mash, two pot lids, squeeze.....

dunk sparge at mashout temp for 10mins, hoist again and squeeze again with pot lids.....

I just hang mine off the hook for 10 mins while I'm bringing it to the boil. The laziest option. There is a fine line between lazy and efficient.
