Soda Stream Bottles And Regs Question

Morning All,

Quick question once the reg is connected to the soda stream adaptor and screwed to the bottle, can I un screw the adapter and reg attached and not loose gas? or is there as I suspect a pin in the bottle that would empty the cylinder? Trying to decide if i need a dedicated reg for the soad stream bottle.

You lose a very small amount of gas when unscrewing the reg, if you do it quick its minimal. The pin in the bottle is spring loaded and closed once the pin in the adapter stops pressing it open.

Make sure you have some sort of tap in the gas line coming out of the reg though, you dont want to accidentally vent the kegs, though I would hope that the regulator would prevent this anyway, just bein paranoid
