I'm a bit of a noob.I made a small batch of scotch ale and now I'd like to soak them in oak chips.the primary is a 5l carboy. I've read a bit about oxidation of beer with plastic and the need to reduce headspace. Would it be ok to leave the 5l beer in 11l pail with Oak chips for a week or two?
