What ive been doing lately with some ales that have been going to sleep with the early morning temp drops in sydney atm, is firstly sitting them in front of the blow heater to get a few degrees into them, then i put on a load of washing. While washing is going, the brew is warming up and i then retire the fermenter back to the garage/laundry and sit it on top of my dryer, which is on the ground, the dryer gently rocks, creating a swirling motion and keeps it warm for an hour or two, i wrap the sucker in a blanket and gain a few gravity points.
