Such a pain in the arse having to modify your brews all the time. Better then nothing though!
Commercial brewers modify their brews all the time, but it is mostly to deal with seasonal changes in ingredients to trick you into thinking it is the same beer.
Modifying my beers is why I brew. I usually brew 2 or 3 kegs worth per batch and will make some change to each so I am deliberately not drinking 2 or 3 kegs exactly the same.
