This weekend I just closed the fermenters lid on an adaptation of this recipe. I haven't worked my way up to all grain yet so I tried to make it with extracts.

3L - Pale LME
1kg - Dextrose DME
200g - Crystal Malt

60min: 30g Willamette + 10g Hallertau (just some leftovers and I was too cheap to buy some Saaz)
55min: 10g Galaxy
50min: 10g Cascade
10min: 5g Galaxy + 5g Galaxy
5min: 5g Galaxy + 5g Galaxy
Dry hop: 25g Galaxy + 25g Cascade

WLP001 California Ale Yeast

Final volume: 23L
OG: 1.055

I'll let you know how it goes. It smelt hop-tastic going in!

The bottle conditioning has finished and this beer is superb! Amazing passionfruity smell, with a nice middle and late bitter taste.

I think it's not quite as bitter as it could be only because my hop schedule was done in a 5L pot so I didn't get as much bittering after the liquid was watered down in the fermenter.

Very tasty beer! Absolutely gorgeous!
