Got some San Fran lager yeast (WLP810), US hops and caramunich and was thinking of knocking together something of a scaled back Cali Common. I'm shooting for a very sessionable amber lager - maybe like an American-styled Oktoberfest and was thinking of the following:
3.0 kg Pale Liquid Extract
0.50 kg Caramunich Malt (34.0 SRM)
30.00 gm Northern Brewer [7.00%] (60 min) Hops 21.5 IBU
20.00 gm Northern Brewer [7.00%] (15 min) Hops 7.1 IBU
0.25 kg Corn Sugar (Dextrose) (0.0 SRM) Sugar 6.7 %
1 Pkgs San Francisco Lager (White Labs #WLP810)
Any feedback? I'm tossing up canning the 15 min addition and going with a single bittering addition to 28IBU.
I also have some cascade and darker crystal on hand, but don't feel inclined to use them...
