Hi guys,

I know the OG and FG varies quite a bit depending on using dextrose vs lme, but what about enhancers? I am doing a MJ kit (Australian gold lager) it says an FG of 1.006 with dextrose, I used an LHBS branded enhancer (Ingredients: dextrose, light dry malt extract , maltodextrin). I am now on day 11 of what they say should be 10 days, and have a reading of 1.012 for the past 3 days. I know I could wait longer but I really don't think its going to budge from here, there is nil airlock activity.

1.006 using dextrose would equate to about 1.012 using malt so I am thinking maybe that is what I should be aiming for using enhancer anyway?

For reference the OG was 1.036, temp is 24 degree constant (using heat belt), used the yeast that came with kit, rehydrated and used 5 gram of yeast nutrient. Taste wise its got no sweetness at all in it (quite bitter)
