Thanks Post Modern Just cut a 2'' hole in a 10 litre bucket and it fits a brita filter perfectly. That will save me a lot of time. By the way does a brita take a good minerals out as well as the nasties (chlorine). Anyways Ill recearch this water chemistry bit further and hopefully make more sense of it. Cheers

Common name for calcium chloride is Chalk.

Hi Ken,

Calcium Carbonate is chalk.

As I said I'm not sure of the common name for Calcium Chloride.
