Prickly Pear Fruit Or Juice

Trying to find somewhere to get prickly pear juice or fruit. I have come across some recipes for prickly pear wine and i thought it might make an interesting fruit addition to something.

I have found the juice for sale as some kind of miracle health drink from the states but it is seriously pricey. does anyone know of somewhere in oz to get some? Brisbane area if possible.

If you have any room in your garden prickly pear would be easy to grow, I don't think it takes long to bear fruit. I think it is legal to grow so long as you don't grow the weedy kind, there are lots of different varieties, try rare fruit places.

Seen a heap of them growing beside the road a while ago but can't remember where.
I think it was up around Canungra.
Not much help but...
The fruit is good to eat but watch the little prickles.
