Prescription Saison

I popped into Beer De Lux in melbourne the other day - looking for something more exotic, and ordered a Black Saison from Drs Orders.
I enjoyed this beer a lot. Fantastic aroma, somethign almost rasperrry and faint tart. Tasted great, malty and just like the aroma and more.
I'd probably call this more a summer beer, but that didn't bother me at the time.
Good to see a small australian brewer selling great beer.

Doc brews some bloody nice beers - what was the ABV?

ABV is 6% - there's a little bit of info on the DOB website.

Had some of the Synapse at Beer DeLuxe yesterday. Thought the dark roasty flavours overwhelmed the saison character just a little, but still a very tasty drop.
