Poppet Valves

Have all the washers to refurbish my kegs and poppet valves but how do I get the poppet valve apart to change the rubber washer at the top.

Rip the old one off with a pair of pliers & then just push the new one over the nipple - If you pull the spring back with your finger nail, you can see how they sit.
