Just racked a sierra nevada pale ale clone to secondary. Unfortunatley made a right dogs breakfast of the siphon/transfer and lost 5L
I have approx 15l in a 23l demijon, with a thick layer of hops on the surface. The airlock is bubbling every min or so and a lot of co2 was released when siphoned, (not air just a lot of co2 being released).
What do you think of the oxidation risk? Should i try and bottle a touch early or dowe think there should be sufficent co2 in the airspace?
