I bought this yeast in error for a Belgian beer I brewed last year and just found it in one of my fridges if anyone would like it's yours, pickup in Diamond Creek Vic, 3089, otherwise it's in the bin on Thursday
It's a beast of a yeast. Brew up an ipa and chuck it in there. Like the stone vertical series 080808. Recipe on the stone website.
I used a WLP that was 14 months past it's use by date just made a weak starter and then built it up. Your yeast hardly out of date.
Bit out of my way to pop over even though the bubble is pricked!!
Thanks for the suggestion Dunc, I understand that it may well still be viable especially for someone who is prepared to make a few steps at a starter. I have plenty of yeast for pale ales so I'd rather pass it on to someone who will or at least will try to use it.
