Went here last night to have a couple with a mate and ended up staying for a thouuuuusand instead.
Good old fashioned pub with a front and back bar. Mix of suits and hi-vis.
Usual suspects on tap, and also had a bit of the James Squire range, Coopers Pale, a euro lager which I cant recall now, but what we were drinking was Stone & Wood Pacific Ale on tap.
At $6.80 for a pint, it was acceptable these days, especially being in the ultra-finance-law area of the Sydney CBD.
Bistro menu was a happy surprise. Good selection of pub grub, the dearest being Barramundi, salad and chips for $14.
Could get a monster burger with all the trimmings with chips for $8.
Pizza big enough for two for $10.
Has a better restaurant upstairs called the Fairmont.
Conclusion: Good pub, good prices considering location. Fair selection of beers if you include bottles.
Nice staff, decent food at excellent prices.
Only negative: No eye candy (well, not on a Wednesday night anyway)
