Quick google shows victory contributes a nutty flavour to brew

How does that hop combination go?

Malts like victory and biscuit add a nuttiness in my experience.

Hop combo wasn't too bad! It's what I had laying around at the time. I'm a fairly in experienced brewer, why do u ask?

Found that the briess pale malt I used can also contribute nutty flavours as well. So this kind of explains why the next brew I did had a less nutty flavor to it. Changed the briess pale for Maris otter still had victory in it though. So there was still that nutty flavor that I don't like but not as bad.

Maris can also be nutty and biscuity. That's why I love all those malts
