Do you currently run demi's?

I rekon a fridge will be more versatile for your brewery and you won't be constrained to using a BB

It draws, according to the site, 90W per hour. So fairly cheap

This is their second attempt in a year to attract investment. First time they wanted $30K but raised only $10K.

TBH, I wouldn't buy one
Not just because I could build one cheaper, but for the cost, you're lagering 1 beer at a time
$300 for a new chestie/all freezer and I can lager 3 or 4 beers at once...

plus running costs...
Not that I am advocating the product. just in the interest of balance

Slim chance that thing will work properly in summertime Australia. It will just scream away and use a buttload of electricity.

Peltiers are ****** heat pumps.

I think a freezer would be more energy efficient
Over here this thing would be running non stop in warmer months
My fermentation freezer cycles maybe 3 or 4 times a day during summer...

They claim it will get the beer 35F below ambient. So in 41C ambient it will get to around 22C - not exactly Lagering temp or even ferment temp for lager

These devices are inefficient, 90w device struggling to keep the temperature down does equal a lot of energy of a bill period. Over a year that's approx $200 worth of power.
My older 320L fridge set to 18c uses just $33 per year. I can keep 2 fermenters in this.
My 420L full fridge uses $93 per year if I keep it set a 4c. This one holds 3 fermenters, I don't have actual usage history for it at 18c although it is now my fermenting fridge.

Seems like it helps you grow a beard though. Hipsters will love it
