Greetings folks,
The city of Newcastle is promoting Australian craft week by hosting a number events at various pubs and bars across the city, and Hunter itself, in the last week of November. Soundss like a good chance to support Aussie craft beer and venues, try some good brews and food, meet brewers, and possibly even learn a thing or two. There's a stack of events going on by the looks of it.

For anyone looking for a good excuse to come up (or down/across/over...) and check it out, the events list here:

Also a bit of write-up about it here:

No direct affliation, etc etc...Just promoting good beer in my local area :)

Cheers and beers
Mike

Hey Mike!

Don't forget about the Bitter and Twisted beer festival on in the Hunter in early November, which will also be a great opportunity to meet some boutique breweries and home brewing experts. There'll also be international food, arts and regional produce stalls and some fantastic music including the Hungry Kids of Hungary! If you have a passion for beer, come to Maitland Gaol 5-6 November for tastings of over 50 boutique beers from around the globe, Home Brew and Meet the Brewer Master Classes and an awesome day out. See www.bitterandtwisted.com.au for details and tickets!
