3136 come over anytime for a brew . Give me a ring and we will do another brew anytime you like as long as it is on my days off . Hows the brew going by the way keeping it cool ?

Understood - I have four kids ranging from 9 down to 18 months and it's hard finding time, which is probably why I don't pay for upgrades (not only are the kids expensive but it's hard to justify something I don't get a massive amount of time to do too regularly anymore).

Hey BB, yep it's going fantastically, plenty of action on top, it got downt to 16, so I put a rug around it and it is staying at 17-18.
I was sitting and watching it last night and there were clumps swirling up and down around the sides.
I'm very mindful of looking after this one after seeing the time gone into it.
BTW I'm going to pop by keg king on the way to a job tomorrow, so if you want anything let me know.

Am I on track here?
Yes . It looks the goods. You probably will get some extra flavour from dry hopping but not much as it is a noble hop more for bittering than flavouring . I would drop in around 50gm to get the extra flavour but that is just me . Try and keep it around 10-12* C for a lager . The lower it is the longer it will take to ferment .

Thanks mate, I was trying to avoid a boil, however if that would help the result I can do it.

No worries . If you boiled the hops it would give you more of a bittering flavour for 60 min , however if you have a coffee plunger put the hops in that and let them sit for 5-10 min in the boiling water and then pour into the fermenter you will get more flavour rather than bittering from it .
