Noonan's "New Brewing Lager Beer"
The new Papazian book
& the Dogfish brewing one you're getting

Let me know your account details & how much I need to deposit & I'll do it this morning.

Thanks

The order is in.
Hopefully it will be here end of next week, early the week after going by recent delivery times.
When they arrive I think lunch at the Australian to do the swap sounds perfect.

It is good having a GOOD local library :) I emailed them these details: Microbrewed Adventures : A Lupulin Filled Journey to the Heart and Flavor of the World's Great Craft Beers. Can we get a copy? Please B)

and they are happy to order a copy for us local brewers, we may start a full rack of books. :p

Hi Doc,

Just out of curiosity, what was the damage for the three orders, am thinking of getting the New Papazian Book???

Cheers,
Jase

Jase,

For the guys that ordered the new Papazian book, plus express postage, it worked out to AU$25.86 each.

Jez and I paid more postage because we both also ordered the Dog Fish Head book, and Jez also got the Noonan Brewing new lager book.

Doc

I ordered last Tuesday.
Checked up last night to see where they were at as I hadn't received a shipping email.
They haven't shipped. All the books we ordered were 24-48 hour shipping expected.
So I've fired off an email to see which book is holding the process up.

From Amazon on 4 November:

"We thought you'd like to know that we shipped your items today, and that
this completes your order."

I would lay odds your get to Australia both quicker and cheaper, Doc

I got a reply from Amazon this morning.

Currently, we are waiting to ship your items until we
receive "Microbrewed Adventures : A Lupulin Filled Journey to the
Heart and Flavor of the World's Great Craft Beers."

This item typically takes longer to obtain from our suppliers than
the other items in your order. We still expect to be able to deliver
your order to you by November 14, 2005.

I have made a one-time exception with your order, To compensate you
for this unexpected change, For that I have upgraded the method of
shipment for this order to Priority International Australia Shipping
and have upgraded the Split Option as well to: Ship items as they
become available for the fast delivery of your order. There is of
course no additional charge for this. We will send you an e-mail
message to confirm the date, contents, and method of your shipment.

Now we expect to ship the available items by November 14, 2005.

I apologize for any misunderstanding. Please contact us again by
visiting http://www.amazon.com/contact-us if you do not receive a
shipment confirmation by November 8, 2005.

So it looks like it should ship tomorrow and be here next week. Hopefully all books will be in the shipment.

Beers,
Doc

How is that for service.
Inquire one day, ships the next day using Priority International.
All items have shipped and should be here next week.

Doc
