Tasted my first ever specialty grain addition just before. :chug:
OMG!!!
Made a Morgans Amber Ale can, with 200g crystal steeped @70 for 30 mins.
Sparge water and a coopers BE2 boiled for 60 min, @45 min, 30 min, and 15 min added 15g willamette. At 0 min added 15g Goldings and the can.
Used S04 Yeast, primary 6 days, racked to cube for around 10 days.
Kegged and poured the first one just now.
I have to say i'm mighty impressed!
Slight bitter aftertaste, but sure will mellow in time (If it lasts!)
This will be a definite addition to the brew routine now!!!
edited because it's not really a "Partial" per se....
