Missed out 1/2 my grain.... UGH!

Just finishing boil of a Stone Smoked Porter Clone. Everything was ok.. mash temp, ph, etc but my preboil gravity was 1/2 expected (design 1.051SG / measured 1.027).

I get my grain in packs of 4 precrushed from my LHBS. Just realised that they were all 1 pack EXCEPT my Smoked Porter.

A lesson for next time. In the meantime hopefully I'll have a decent light smoked ale!

Buy in bulk and buy grain mill.
