Micromatic Reg Leaking

My micromatic regulator is leaking out the vent hole. Have pulled it apart and as you see in pic attached, its clean as a whistle, however I did notice a bit of damage to this part? Would this be the issue and whats the cause? Obvious answer would be the reg has been wound in too much but ive only ever had it up to around 300kpa. Would be good to get peoples thoughts.
Is this a common problem. Looks like if I get a rebuild kit I should be back in business.

They are a very good regulator
It looks like a genuine Micromatic, there were a bunch of fake ones getting around for a while and they aren't worth fixing.
I used to get my service kits from Andale, they would be worth a call. the full parts kit is fairly expensive but if the diaphragm is OK you probably only need the needle and seat.
