Apologies, I'm not holding the end up either- tried both Bulimba Gold Top and the Brissie Bitter, let's just say I'm rather glad that I never forked out for a six pack, let alone a carton! OTOH, I could just blame Dan's handling though...
However, I would be swayed away from the green box if I was faced with choosing between one of the three.

I had an Amarillo Saison, a Belgian Blonde, my XXXX Ale (BB Ale, Cluster and US05) and then a Brisbane Bitter. Bugger me, it was truely horrendous.

Finished it though. Didn't want to look like a snob.

Hate VB, didn't like the gold top, but the Brisbane Bitter I actually liked.

I could actually taste that someone had used hops and crystal malt in it.

Granted, it isn't a TTLL, but very much drinkable.

Goomba

I struggled my way right to the bottom of a Gold Top (that doesn't sound right ;) ) and couldn't finish the Brissie Bitter TBH, but it was only me in the motel room long after a hard night's BABBs break up. I guess I was spoilt beforehand, not to mention the resulting wobbly boot, but I still think Dan must be responsible for this injustice! :beerbang:
