:D Well, I had some spare mayo buckets (what is with this forum now, you can edit a word once you type it?) and ended up making the gear in the photo. It is like a 19-21 L kettle but I am hoping I can use as a mash tun with the help of the fridgemate (to keep the temp stable) And I guess it would be used for partial mash.

On the other hand I got the idea I could put one of my brews in my son's mini wheelie bin, and it just fits right. Anybody done this. I paid $25 for it but I have seen the gone down to $20. I also think they could be useful for a double brew if they were food grade? View attachment 38260

Edit: wheelie bin is 60 L, and got some space to drop some frozen pet bottles on the corners. I got a dark ale brewing there.

just clarifying: the bucket in the bin is not the one with the kettle element. That is my second fermenter with a dark ale kit. I am using the fridge with another brew.

Edit: and here is the final product.
