That bloke creates a beautiful knife, now doubt. But I think stuff like that will by and large remain the purview people who like to throw dinner parties and use cutlery as a talking point.
I've got a couple of mates, ones a brother in law, who are chef's and they both use Global knives. Both for similar reasons. Light, well balanced, easy to maintain, and not so disturbingly expensive that you require counselling if something happens to it.
The fact that I revived a large Mundial knife a few years ago from the bro in law makes me think he belives me to be a wanker..
