Low Carbonation

Am new to brewing and have just tried my first brew and it seems very low of fizz.
Used a Coppers brew kit (Lager).
Waited about 12 days from bottling.
Is this long enough or should I wait longer?

Wait a bit longer. Try one every few days and see how they are going. Two weeks is pretty much a minimum but it can take a bit longer. How warm is it where the beers are? How much sugar etc did you use? Patience is difficult with that first batch, but they'll probably be fine.
