Hi All,

With the season change upon us next week in Melbourne I have decided to try and make something that is simiar in style (not a clone) to Love Tap, I like the description of this at the local taphouse "basically an IPA with a Lager Yeast"

I am temp controlled so can help it keep cool until the colder weather kicks in and stays next week (i think but who knows).

Recipe

1.7 Kg Black Rock Amber Malt
1.7 Kg Black Rock Light Malt
500g DLME

15g Amirillo @ 30min
15g Cascade @ 30min
15g Galaxy @ 30min
10g Galaxy @ 1min

Saflager s-23 14C

Will keep you updated.

Spreadsheet Says IBU 35 ish at 22L batch size

Cheers and Happy Brewing!

Good luck with your brew. It should be a tasty one. I

On a side note, I think Love Tap uses Galaxy, Motueka & Tettenang for anyone wanting to do something that is more of a clone

Yeah I think thats on their website, I had the hops already in the fridge so decided on more in that sort of style then clone! Thanks for your help anyway.

Is it an IPA? More bitterness and more aroma/flavour hops is what I would do, but then again I haven't had a love tap for ages.

Seems a ittle ligfht on for an IPA, needs another 10-15 IBU IMO.
