Hi all,

am doing a brew this morning and the chux I used to steep my grains has split a little and i have a small number of grains in my wort. I can't get them out or strain them without possibly spilling quite a bit . Will it be ok to go through with the boil with them in it or should I really tempt fate to get them out?

If you have a strainer, just scoop out what you can. I wouldn't strain the lot unless there's loads in there.

Thanks mate. I've scooped out as much as I can. Only a few scattered ones left. They won't introduce an infection of they're boiled will they
