Started back with brewing today after 9 months hiatus due to technical difficulties and learnt a few lessons:

- Engel protable freezers don't deal well with their vents against camping gear.
- Hops in said freezer make great food for fungus.
- 9 month old cracked grain makes great food for weavils.
- Well stored 9 month old cracked grain almost hits predicted SG (find out about the flavour later).
- Rats can eat through plastic and secretly devour a half 60 L drum of grain.

At least I've got some beer to show for my efforts.
