Gday all,
Well this is the first time i have used a liquid yeast, the yeast i am using is the wyeast 2007 pilsner yeast
I am planning to start this yeast with wort from my brew. I plan on adding 500ml to the yeast then adding another 500ml of yeast the following day so this will give me 1lt of yeast.

The question how much should i use in my 23lt batch of AG brew

I am not sure the whole lt
500ml
or maybe even less

Cheers Archie

There's truckloads of info ... just use the search function - "yeast starter" "lager yeast" "propagating" etc. That lot will answer your questions and give you a few ideas on what to do to make your yeast go further.

Yeah sorry about that i wacked in a new topic before i searched heaps of info here

Cheers Hubby

You probably need more like 2 litres for a lager. You can just add your White Labs tube to a 2l starter, give it a day or two, and away you go.

HEy again,
Thanks for all the great links they are very helpfull
will be pitching yeast tomorrow now i guess
