Hi Home brewers
I saw on a website some where that i can add glucose to lager liquid malt extract (10% I think?) for a light liquid malt extract. Can anyone confirm this???
Cheers
Nisloo

Hi Nisloo,

Are you referring to a prehopped can when you say "lager liquid malt extract" or can can of malt specifically for lagers?

Ultimately the addtion depends on the recipe and intended style. If referring to a can of prehopped goo then a small percentage of dextrose may be a common addition to lighten the body of the beer

Cheers,
Lodan

BTW might be best to post this is the kits and extract section next time :)
