I have some Wyeast 1469 (West Yorkshire) that has just shrugged off a two and half year sleep like it was a nana nap.

Only 36hrs after taking it out of the freezer, and it's already ready to be spun up to pitching volume.

First 250ml starter was well and truly done in 24hrs, this is the 1L after only about 8 hrs.

This is nearly the last of the batch I spun up Jul 2019, so I'll be reserving some of the pitch to build up another stock.
