beening a noobie at this i thought it would'nt hurt to ask.
I have just kegged my Killkenny brew and want to know, after i gas it to about 10psi and pull the release valve to get rid of the air inside.
Do i turn the gas off or leave it on (at 10 psi)?
Do i leave it at 10 psi and wait a week for it to settle them go to full gas 40psi for 48 hrs
I have read the ross method, but dont mind waiting as i will be drinking it around Xmas

any help would be great

Look at you go, new brewer and soon to be new Dad, you'll have an assistant brewer then. All the best for you both. Keep us informed of the progress here and we'll all have one with you to wet the babe's head.

If you dont mind waiting leave the gas on for a week at 10psi and your beer will be perfectly carbed. There is no need to increase the pressure at the end, this it is only needed if you are force carbonating.

Congratulation on the baby

lol :D

your right Scewtop the new assistant brewer can pour dad another beer. ill lets you all know when it happens.

should call the new human meat monster " Brewster " lol :chug:

Jye
should i then take it out of the fridge after gassing, till Xmas?
does this make any difference? or should i leave it if i have room?
