1) I keg for convenience, so sediment reducing filter on a bottle would in no way destory my kegging habit, and I don't think I'm alone here. Defintely wouldn't destroy the kegging industry, what a ludicrous claim :\

2) if I cbf bottling more often, I would. I, like OP, notice heaps better hop flavour and malt profile and EVERYTHING in bottles, its just a PITA to do. Warmer temps conditioning the bottle isn't an explaination, as that would indicate the hop flavour and aroma would dissipate more quickly in the bottle. It doesn't.

Nice to hear that there are others here that have noticed a difference between bottled & kegged. I definately pick up stronger tones of malt, hops & overall aroma against the kegged beer. I would never dispute the convenience factor with kegging as obviously its more time consuming to bottle an equal volume of beer. I picked up another handy gadget in Brisbane last week to give your bottles a rinse the morning after or if you happen to find some. I had to get a bush to screw into this as it fits 3/4" QLD taps but not our 1" taps in NSW.

Turbo bottle washer

I hear constantly how bad & time consuming bottling is & I guess all of us started bottling before kegging & a lot of this gear wasn't around making bottling quite laborious & a real PITA. I have a couple of 80 bottle bottle trees, a vinator for no rinse sanitiser & with the jet washer, I can clean & sanitise a batch of 70 bottles in no time at all. I quite enjoy it actually.
