Hi all post gave up the ghost on my keg, and i had to drag it and drop my beer into a firestone keg... problem was the beer got a little angry on transfer to the new keg and it was not really carbonated fully it had been sitting on 40psi for 24hours before that.

How long should i re carb the beer for?? Another 24 at 40 or drop it back?... its currently on 40 and has been for the past 2 hours

It's impossible to say without the temperatures involved.

But you can just leave it at serving pressure & temperature for a week, and it will eventually re-carbonate.
