Hi Guys,
Been lurking for a while but am due for a post... Getting myself setup with some all grain gear, I have seen plenty of pictures of old kegs being used as kettles.
If they work fine I would feel better about drilling in to an old keg than a new shiny pot to add thermometer etc.
So my questions are, are they efficient/effective to use as a kettle and if so does anyone know of a legitimate source in Newcastle.
If no one knows I'll check with the LHBS when they reopen after the holidays.
Cheers,
Nick.
