I know this is a few weeks old, but I just went down to the scrap metal place mentioned in the OP, and he had a 3 Kegs sitting there so I picked them up. He said he would probably be getting a few more this week too.
I have just cut a hole in the top of all these and some of them have some surface rust. Can I sand these back and then get them pickled? If so does anyone know anyone that can;
a) do some sanitary welds, and
B) pickle them afterwards?
