Keg carbonation lid

What is the general consensus here about those carbonation keg lids?

I am thinking of getting one if it makes force carbing a bit more reliable.

Never used one so can't really comment. However I have no problem with carbonation, you just have to remember to turn the gas off if you're doing it the quick way on high pressure.

I used one for a while, it does help get the carbonation into the beer quicker. I stopped using it once I got a second co2 tank and regulator. Now I burst carbonate as the Brülosophy chart on the website.

Sorry should have added you can't use them at high pressure, I only ever used the carbonation lid at serving pressure.
