Hi everyone,

I have some rehydrated yeast that I want to pitch tomorrow. Do you think it will be OK in the fridge overnight?

Cheers

Will be fine although allow it to come up to pitching temps before pitching to avoid temp shock

Should always keep them in the fridge until the day you want it mate.

Cheers

So I pitched the yeast and its been in there for about 32 hours.

There is no action from the airlock however scum is visible and the vessel is approximately 3 deg warmer than the wine fridge its in. I am guessing there is an air leak and fermentation is still occurring.

Will take a gravity reading at the end of the week and confirm that
