Hi Guys,

I have some Nottingham Yeast and hops ( lots of different types) and thought i would concoct a Brew. I'm looking for a beer with a decent malt profile with a nice hop character but not overdone.

Not sure about my style selection but wasn't really sure what i might have created.

Shouldn't the boil size be bigger than the batch size or do you top up with water?
 
looks pretty tasty, I'd throw some goldings/styrian goldings in there dry as well, but that's my personal preference.

Yeah i top up, i use the high gravity boil method, I normally get 13.5 litres of 1.070 wort and top to 19 making a beer around 4.8 ish.

Agreed but couldn't work out what it really was, beersmith doesn't have that many options when it comes the English beers and could squeeze it into a style (happy to be corrected)!!

I think I will run with it but not tomorrow, too damn hot for brewing!!
 
Recipe looks tasty and easy drinking.

Styrian goldings are a variant of fuggles grown in Slovenia. Region and evolution make them taste different.
