Just dropped a brew into the FV

Jamo's Golden Ale

Original Gravity (OG): 1.046 (P): 11.4
Final Gravity (FG): 1.009 (P): 2.3
Alcohol (ABV): 4.79 %
Colour (SRM): 7.4 (EBC): 14.6
Bitterness (IBU): 33.2 (Average)

1.7kg Liquid Malt Extract (Mangrove Jacks Golden Ale Kit) (18IBU)
500g Dextrose
500g Dry Malt Extract - Light
500g Wheat Malt
250g Crystal 60


10 g Pride of Ringwood (8.3% Alpha) @ 40 Minutes (Boil)
10 g Cascade (7.8% Alpha) @ 20 Minutes (Boil)
10 g Saaz (3.6% Alpha) @ 20 Minutes (Boil)
10 g Saaz (3.6% Alpha) @ 1 Minutes (Boil)


Single step Infusion at 71C for 30 Minutes. Boil for 60 Minutes

Fermented at 20C with Safale S-04

Bit of a Experimental brew as LHBS didnt have any LME was going to do it with a Wheat LME so i just used a mangrove jacks golden ale kit.

Seeped Crystal, added to boil pot 40min boil with 300g of LDME and 300g of WDME adding fist hops after hot break passed.

cooled wort to 50c in a chill bath then added to FV with Kit can and rest of the Fermentables, Shook living **** out of it for a min, added water to get it too 23L stirred the shit out of it for another minute then pitched yeast at 26c then put in Fermenter fridge to cool to 20c

OG - 1048

Very golden colour and nice smell, should be nice and a bit higher in % than my previous brews
 
Just popped a top off one, Delicious! theres a bitter tang but there only 20 days in the bottle my last extract was much better after 30 days.....

very nice mouthfeel, bugger all head retention but quite pleasent to drink

the Saaz hops are quite sweet
