Hello. I currently have a Keggle with a 2400W element. It's ok, but a little slow, and the boil isn't all that strong. Would rather not go through the hassle of drilling a hole for another element, so am after an immersion element (over the side style). Would run it from a separate circuit in the house. There are plenty on ebay from dodgy Chinese sellers who say they are in Australia and they're sold at very good prices. I'm a little wary of that route though. Anyone used one of these? The best price I can find delivered is around $90 (I'm in Perth). Anyone know where to buy these? Would like to see if i can find a cheaper price than that. Keen for something between 1100W and 2400W.

Thanks for your help.

JG Thomas in Bayswater should have them if you prefer to buy over the counter. I got mine from there several years ago.

The local stock ones on eBay are good. Around 80 bucks.

Anything cheaper looks dodgy.

My brewery is based on 3 of them.
