Hi mate, top idea you've hit on there! One question, why do you boil your hop sock when you're putting it into boiling wort anyway?

chrisluki Because I'm similar level too! I like your vids. I don't watch general TV so cheers for your video efforts :chug:

Good video. I would have liked to hear how the brew turned out after investing the time to watch it. I was encouraged to do my first all grain brews a lot sooner than I would have done them by being persuaded as to how easy it can be to do basic brews instead of concentrating on the number of things that can go wrong. Reference Nick JD's tutes on this site. My first three half batches of BIAB brews in the Big W 19 litre pot convinced me that it is really hard to stuff up making good beer with decent ingredients no matter how flawed your process.

Hey mate, thanks for that! I have seen the error in my ways and wont boil the hop sock anymore...I was doing it for dry hopping and just doing the same for my boil, just cos. A few people have given me the same feedback.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks mate. I will do a follow up video on the brew to let you know how it went...it's currently being dry hopped.

Yeah I agree, even when I make mistakes, the brews still turn out alright. Looking forward to tasting this one, as it was my own recipe...cant guarantee it will taste great!

I also jumped into AG a bit quick...but its been great fun!
