hey forum

i am pluggin my figures into bulk priming calc and am bottling my bohemian pilsner using DME to prime (19 litres).. i have grain & grape brand light DME and it doesnt say what %AA it is. according to the calc you can choose 70%AA or 75%AA...the difference between the 2 is about 13 grams....does anyone know what the %AA is of the DME and/or does it really matter? if i take a punt and get it wrong by under/over priming by 13g will it matter?

My chosen bulk priming calculator (the one in beersmith) doesn't give me the option you mention but I'd say even manticle (just saying) couldn't pick the difference 13g would make to 19L.

What does %AA refer to for DME?
I thought that was a hop thing.

Aparent Attentuation? Similar to PPG maybe?
