The pumpy mill is a great workout I crush at 0.7mm and it is a lovely crush with a bit of Huffy Puffy

havnt you got a motor on that yet !

I guess it took you forever to get a pump for your brewing........

you would not regret a motor on the mill.

you should be able to get one for about the price of a march pump.

less if you ring up motor rewind buisnesses and ask them if they have second hand 1 phase motors for sale.

I tried to the mill using a handle and soon realised that I was a F^%ing idiot for even trying. Not even superman would be that keen...

The motor is the only way to go...And you need a pretty good one to... ;)
 
do you have to give yours a helping hand to get started too mate.

They were free.......... :)

I want a good .75 kw on mine. ours are only .37kw i think. They are only .1kw on the low speed

Ross has a 3 phase which is better cause it has more torque down low to get started
 
Yeah I need to give a push start.

But once it is running it is fine....does 5kg in about 1min...with a fantastic crush
