I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I cannot mash that
Just wondering how you all got started home brewing...
Essentially, I got a $50 gift voucher from my friend as an 18th birthday present. As all my friends were brewing, I decided to get a kit. So I did, and made a batch with the can and bottles that came with the kit. I didn't do any cleaning or anything, and predictably, it was ****.
Fast forward to last christmas (I am 21 now). My mum bought me a capper for my beer as she thought me having a kit and not making anything was a waste (which was). I decided to make a batch of pale ale, with glass bottles, sterilising solution and friendly advice from my local home brew store. It went well, and encouraged by this I made another. This led to me loving making home brew.
Your turn.
